Critic-at-large Peter Robinson of KALW Radio will be at the City Hall Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2 for his 12th program with the Sausalito Library. His subject is Tin Pan Alley, the New York City epicenter of the music publishing business in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Peter will focus his multimedia presentation on the 1920s and 1930s, when the lyrics and rhythms of Tin Pan Alley captured the changing moods of the American public, from the highs of the Roaring Twenties to the lows of the Great Depression.
