Read a story together as you enjoy a walk through your town or local park! Pages from The Hike, written by Alison Farrell, can be found along the trail for children of all ages and their families to explore the park and take a reading adventure.
This event will start at the Tennessee Valley Trailhead. Light snacks will be provided (limited supplies). This program is hosted by the Marin City Library, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, the National Parks Service, the Sausalito Public Library, and the Mill Valley Public Library.
The StoryWalk of The Hike will be up at Tennessee Valley through May. If you cannot make it to this event, we encourage you to come out and explore Tennessee Valley and the StoryWalk on your own and be sure to lookout for future programs!
Details for planning your visit:
- The StoryWalk distance is approximately 1/2 mile. Estimated time to complete the walk is 30 minutes.
- The trail is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
- There is a parking lot and restrooms available at the trailhead.
- Please remember to pack a snack and water bottle, and to bring extra layers to stay comfortable.
