Don't Forget to Vote! To be counted, your mail-in ballot for the General Election must be postmarked on or before Tuesday, November 5. Ballots that are not mailed should be dropped off at a vote center or drop box or voted in person by 8:00 p.m. on November 5.
The vote center in the Edgewater Room on the lower level of Sausalito City Hall will be open from November 2 to November 5.
The ballot drop box in Sausalito is located at the far end of the City Hall parking lot. There is also a drop box at the Marin City Library in the Gateway Shopping Center.
If you are not registered to vote, you can still register online or at the Elections Department in San Rafael, but you must come to the Elections Department by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day to get a ballot.
Voters can track their ballot by signing up for Where's My Ballot on the website of the California Secretary of State.
