What makes a good street tree? Join UC Marin Master Gardener Marie Narlock as she presents trees that flourish in Sausalito. Participants learn which trees enhance Sausalito's public spaces and complement its natural beauty — and which could be problematic. Participants also gain helpful knowledge and skill in identifying common trees. Marie has been a UC Marin Master Gardener for 13 years. She studied landscape design through the UC Berkeley Extension and Merritt College, and completed sustainable landscape classes at Sonoma State. She writes articles for the Marin IJ and co-edited and launched the Leaflet, the UC Marin Master Gardener newsletter. This program is co-sponsored by Sausalito Beautiful.
