Please join us for another excellent Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco presentation on the early works of Peter Paul Rubens with docent Rita Dunlay. 

Rubens (1577-1640) was renowned for his virtuosic handling of oil paint, depictions of taut dramatic action, and sensuous coloring.  The exhibit will focus on what is arguably the artist’s most innovative period of production, from 1608 until about 1620.
